Grand Opening of Promenade Park

Located on the northern edge of Downtown Fort Wayne at the corner of Superior and Harrison Streets, Promenade Park will be home to gathering spaces for our community, including a pavilion, amphitheater, canopy trail, kids' canal, playground and more.

Lunch on the Square
Freimann Square

Lunch on the Square, presented by Lutheran Health Network, returns to Freimann Square with live music for people to enjoy outside during lunch. Grab lunch to-go at one of the Downtown eateries and celebrate your summer in DTFW! Enjoy the shade, available seating, fountains, and a great view of Downtown. Join us on August 15 with music from Jen & The Foggy Creek Band.
The Legendary Trainhoppers
Promenade Park Grand Opening

The Legendary Trainhoppers will play on Friday, August 9 from 9 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. at the Promenade Park Grand Opening Celebration! Don't miss out on this free event!

Free Film Marathon

Trinity English Lutheran Church's first summer movie marathon will look at the questions of justice, community and the quest for reconciliation as a necessity for people to live together in a community through the films of Clint Eastwood.
Hang Out on the Porch
Calhoun Street

Fort Wayne Community Development is excited to announce the opening of the "Porch Off Calhoun". It is located in the parking area adjacent to the alley on the west side of Calhoun between Wayne and Berry streets. The activation of this space is a recommendation of the recently completed Downtown Fort Wayne Public Realm Action Plan.

Work will start Monday, adding 225 parking spaces to the facility surrounded by Jefferson Blvd., Calhoun St., Washington Blvd. and Clinton Street.

The second tiny print show will be held at The Brass Rail. Each print is sold for $1.25. This opening will start at 8 p.m., and this is a 21 and older show. The show will stay up from August 24 - September 8.
