Latest Line 5 Update
The Michigan Court of Appeals became the latest court to reject Attorney General Dana Nessel's attempt to stop construction of the Great Lakes Tunnel.  The Court of Claims ruled against Nessel in favor of the Tunnel, and the Court of Claims denied the AG a request to stay the ruling.

Now the Michigan Court of Appeals has denied the AG's request to stay the Court of Claims ruling.  Read coverage from the Detroit News  for more information on this latest ruling.

The AG’s office even noted that if Enbridge applies for the permits needed for the construction of the proposed tunnel, then the state would need to process the applications as there is no basis to deny the tunnel at this time.
