The Cook County Assessor's Office is now accepting property tax assessment appeals for this area, which must be filed by May 8, 2015. Someone from Commissioner Bridget Gainer's office will be available for assistance to help you file an appeal and answer any of your property tax questions.

When: Monday, April 20 from 1pm - 5pm
Where: 46th Ward Office at 4544 N. Broadway

OPEN OFFICE HOURS EVERY MONDAY

46TH WARD ZONING & DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
 
The committee reviewed the proposed development at 3817-45 N. Broadway and have requested further information about the results of a traffic study, renderings of the building as it fits on the entire block, and more information about what will be done with the current businesses. The plan will be revisited at the April 27th zoning meeting.

ONE SUMMER CHICAGO - JOBS FOR YOUTH

UPDATE ON WEDNESDAY SHOOTING
At approximately 1:50AM Wednesday morning, a 24 year old woman was fatally shot in the head on the 4500 block of N. Broadway. Chicago Police Department detectives are gathering information including video footage. CPD has stated that they do not believe this was gang-related. If you have any additional information or questions, please call the 19th District CAPS office at 312-744-0064.
