Quick recap on our local market: Sales are happening fast and values are still on the rise. In April we had 396 single family home sales, up by 13 from March. Median selling prices were up in all towns except Fairfield, New Canaan, and Westport which remained about the same. Time to sell a home was down significantly in all towns except Weston where there was no change and Westport where selling time increased. Sales above $2.0 million accounted for about 20% of the total sales, up from last month. Sales below $1.0 million were at 50%, down from last month.
