with Rev. Julia Hamilton
There is a movement underway to undo decades of progress for disability rights. Now is the moment to rise together and refuse to go back, to celebrate adaptive change as sacred and holy work, and to embrace the transformative power of inclusion.

Bridge to the Future Photo Tour of our Future Campus
Want to share in the excitement of the Bridge to the Future plans that are shaping up? Check out our Bridge to the Future Flipbook – a tour through our future campus! Click here to take the “virtual tour”.
This tour includes the “photo” renderings created by our architect. These renderings bring life to the vision and allow us to conceptualize all the hope and wishes for our campus as a place that builds community, offers accessibility to all, and is resilient in the face of a changing climate. And, in case you missed it, our Bridge to the Future presentation given in March dives more deeply into the plans. A recording of the presentation can be found on our Bridge to the Future Webpage: www.ussb.org/capital-campaign

Join 3C-REN after the worship service on April 6th in Parish Hall to learn about incentives for home energy upgrades. For a project in a single-family home, homeowners can expect incentives anywhere from $500 to $6,000 depending on the energy savings the upgrade will accomplish. Heat pump projects that replace a gas-powered water heater or gas-powered furnace trigger the biggest incentives, and 3C-REN offers even higher equity-incentives to help give everyone a chance to benefit from their program. Speakers will discuss 3C-REN incentives, working with contractors, and additional local, state, and federal incentives that can be combined for thousands more in savings.

March Outreach Offering
The Hunt for Justice
Each year, we make our traditional Easter egg hunt, The Hunt for Justice, a “faith in action” family project. Our Outreach Offering for March will collect money to fund three local organizations. In early April, children will vote for their favorite causes. CRE staff will match the top three causes with local organizations. On Easter Sunday, April 20th, children will hunt for eggs. Each egg will reflect a dollar amount. Children will distribute their eggs among three baskets, one for each of the chosen organizations, to determine the distributions of funds raised.
Parents are invited to have conversations with their children about giving, causes they care about, and where they would like to donate the money collected by our congregation for the Hunt.
If you would like to donate to this fund, please make your check payable to USSB and write “Hunt for Justice” in the memo line or donate online at ussb.org/give.
