PODIUM POSITION


• Five spots, Authors on Display Dinner, Sunday, September 27

     

A keynote opportunity intended for established and rapidly-rising regional and national talents, Authors on Display Dinner is open to authors of

any genre.

   

Publishers donate a minimum of

130 books or ARCs (pre-signed or pre-signed on site);

$1,000* promo fee, per author.


AUTOGRAPHING THE NIGHT AWAY


• Twenty authors, The Nightcapper, Sunday, September 27


Authors will be given signing stations at The Nightcapper, a lively dessert and wine reception capping off the first day of the show.


Publishers donate a minimum of

110 books or ARCs;

$400* promo fee, per author.

  UP-AND-COMING TO BREAKFAST


• Ten spots, Authors on the Map, Monday, September 28


An event for newer authors from the PNBA member region interested in connecting with and visiting PNBA stores. Each participant in the always-anticipated Authors on the Map will be given five minutes to speak at the morning event. Sign & greet will follow.



Publishers donate a minimum of

$400* promo fee, per author.

HEAD OF THE CLASS


• Four spots, Readers' Recess, Monday, September 28


The Readers' Recess is a catch your breath respite for attendees to focus on just one presenter at a time in between the frenzy of the show floor and the packed evening schedule. This event is designed for children's book authors of all age-ranges, genres, and formats.

$800* promo fee, per author.


  TABLE HOPPING


• Twenty spots, The Signature Dish, Monday, September 28


An evening for national and Northwest-known authors to meet with booksellers while enjoying this literary feast, known as The Signature Dish. Authors will rotate through ten tables of booksellers, spending about eight minutes with each group. Authors share a private pre-show sign and dine period prior to the official event!

SOLO SPOTLIGHT


• Singular Speaker, Day Three Morning Marquee, Tuesday, September 29


The final day of programming will start with the show's principal keynote author. The Morning Marquee breakfast presentation kicks off the day, prior to the American Booksellers Association's plenary education offering.

SIGNING-OFF THE SHOW


Ten spots, Books Around the Bend, Tuesday, September 29


We celebrate authors with books we're looking forward to, set to publish in the late winter and spring seasons. Each participant in the lunchtime Books Around the Bend will be given five minutes to speak at this show-capping event. Greeting time with booksellers will follow.

$400* promo fee, per author.


PNBA MUST RECEIVE PROPOSALS AND SUPPORTING MATERIALS BY FRIDAY, JULY 10



Most show invitations will be issued within two weeks of the July 10 deadline.

 

If you require a more detailed description of any of the events prior to proposing your author for a spot at the show, please contact Greg Holmes.


Publicists may request authors be featured at specific events, but invitations may be influenced by bookseller input and by a PNBA commitment to provide a wide variety of authors and content within individual events and across the show at large.
