Background:
Pursuant to Senate Bill 280 (Chapter 640, Statutes of 2019), HCD is investigating aging-in-place design features for inclusion in the 2022 California Residential Code. Additionally, HCD is considering editorial amendments to the California Building Code, Chapter 11A, that have no change in regulatory effect.
