The Surface Transportation Board Office of Environmental Analysis (OEA) recently completed an environmental impact study on the proposed acquisition of Kansas City Southern Railway (KCS) by Canadian Pacific Railway (CP).
What does this mean for Rosenberg? The study showed an increase in rail traffic from 8 to approximately 14.4 additional trains per day on average. OEA will hold in-person and online public meetings to receive comments from the public.
