The Colorado Affordable Housing Financing Fund supports land banking, equity, and concessionary debt for affordable housing.

Reminder: Land Banking LOIs Due Today

The Land Banking LOI acceptance period will close at the end of day today: Monday, August 21st, at 11:59pm MT.

 

Prospective Land Banking applicants must submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) to CHFA prior to the submission of an application. Please note that completion of the Proposition 123 Local Government Affordable Housing Commitment is not required to be completed for LOI submission. Proof of commitment submission will be required at time of application, with acceptance by DOH required to be deemed an eligible applicant.

 

Borrowers will be sent a Proposition 123 Land Banking Application and be notified of next steps via email on September 11, 2023.

Proposition 123 Commitment Technical Assistance

To support local jurisdictions with the Affordable Housing Commitment process, a series of technical assistance webinars organized by the Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) will be held throughout the month of August, and details are available on the DOLA website. Each session will be recorded and posted on the DOLA website, and attending a webinar will be a prerequisite to receiving tailored technical assistance if it is needed.
