Ray-Pec Parent Community,
Proposition S is Ray-Pec’s $72-million no-tax-rate-increase bond election slated for April 6, 2021. Proposition S provides opportunities for our students, meets our student enrollment challenges at the high school level, and allows us to be good stewards of our current facilities. We have put together an informational video that explains the why and what of Proposition S. I encourage you to view the video.
I also have been made aware that there is another ballot question that uses the name of the Ray-Pec School District. That ballot question is not from the Ray-Pec School District. That ballot is from the Junior College District of Kansas City, which is also known as Metropolitan Community College. I want you to be aware of that important distinction between the two ballots.
Proposition S is the Ray-Pec School District no-tax-rate increase bond election and will be listed as Proposition S on the ballot.
I urge you to exercise your right to vote in the April 6 election. For more information about Proposition S, please visit our Proposition S website.
On behalf of the Ray-Pec Board of Education, thank you for entrusting your children to the Ray-Pec School District.
I am passionately driven by the belief that Everyone Is Created To Flourish
