Jonathan and his wife, Cynthia (Cindy), have been married for 15 years. They have three girls, Abigail 13, Emily 11, and Kathryn who is 9. He has served on staff at churches in Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Florida as Worship Pastor and Pastor of Worship and Families. He received his Bachelor of Church Music from Williams Baptist College in Arkansas and his Master of Church Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Texas. During his years of education, he served as children’s intern and interim children’s minister at First Baptist Church, Lakeside, Texas. He was also Graduate Assistant Faculty at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Forth Worth, Texas. In 2008 he served as an intern at First Baptist Church, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Jonathan is a baptized believer and an ordained minister. His two passions are Worship and Discipleship. He desires to serve on a team that is seeking to see the church engage in dynamic worship of our Creator God and to actively grow mature disciples of Jesus Christ. He feels he is called to use his talents and gifts to serve the Lord in a full-time ministry position in the area of church music.
