Spring Musical:
Guys and Dolls is Playing Now!
The Saint Joseph High School Spring Musical takes to the stage Friday and Saturday at Bethel College's Everest-Rohrer Auditorium.

The production will be live Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. and closing with a 2:00 p.m. performance on Saturday.

Enjoy a special sneak peek of what the cast has been up to, and make sure to come out and see the show!
Saint Joe Represented at World Youth Day
Fr. Terry, Mr. Verhiley, Rusty Day, Lauren Salela, Regan Stesiak, Emanuel Alaniz, and Michelle Alvara traveled to Panama for World Youth Day, an event coordinated every three years by the Catholic Church.

The event actually spans several days, and took place from January 22nd - 27th. Many cultures are represented with an overlapping sense of unity, bringing the youth together to share their own themes of Catholicism.

The next World Youth Day with take place in 2022 in Lisbon, Portugal.

Parent Advising Session for Class of 2023
Please join Mrs. Dana Strabavy, Director of Counseling and College Advising, on Thursday, February 28th in the Black Box Theater at 6:00 p.m. for a parent information session for students in the Class of 2023.

The session will cover educational pathways and what to expect for the incoming Class of 2023 as you progress to on-site class registration. Light refreshments will be served.
Financial Aid
FACTS application deadline is February 28th. If you are seeking financial assistance for the 2019-20 school year, the FACTS application  can be found here   . Please submit your application for financial aid as soon as possible to find which aid you are eligible for.

Please join us in welcoming Angelica M. Duarte to the Saint Joe family! Mrs. Duarte has two children currently enrolled at Saint Joe and is very excited and eager to assist Spanish-speaking families in any way she can.

All School Mass
with Bishop Rhoades
March 19th

All are invited to attend Mass with the Saint Joe community to celebrate the Feast of Saint Joseph on March 19th at 9:30 a.m. Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Kevin Rhoades.

There will also be a 2:30 p.m. dismissal on this day.
It is a busy time of year for winter sports! State Finals for boys' swimming take place on Saturday, while boys' basketball received their playoff pairing with Marian on Sunday. Girls' basketball fell in a hard-fought sectional semi-final against Penn. Junior Keegan Sullivan was named First-Team All-NIC, junior Kashlin Biffle Second-Team All-NIC, and senior Macy Seese honorable mention.

Swimming Finishes Sixth at State Championship

The girls' swimming team marched into Indianapolis and came away with a sixth-place team finish at the IHSAA State Championship. Sophomore Mary Cate Pruitt became Saint Joe's first individual state champion in the 500 freestyle. Pruitt also finished third in the 200 freestyle.

Senior Aislinn Walsh was runner-up in the 100 breaststroke, finishing behind Yorktown's Emily Weiss - who recorded the fourth-fastest time in the national history of the event. Walsh also finished fourth in the 100 butterfly.

Saint Joe also claimed third in the 400 free relay, and sixth in the 200 medley relay.

Wrestler Competes at Semi-State; Touted for Exceptional Sportsmanship
Junior Jonny Scott ended a successful season, advancing and competing at the IHSAA Semi-State Championship at 152 pounds. The junior was commended in two separate official reports in the regional round for exceptional sportsmanship in two different matches. We are extremely proud to have a student-athlete like Jonny representing Saint Joe!
Freshman Basketball Wins NIC Conference Tournament

The Saint Joe freshman basketball team capped off an inspired postseason run, claiming the NIC Conference Championship with a 38-37 win, besting rival Marian in overtime. The team finished 13-0 on the season.
National Signing Day: Student-Athletes to Continue Playing in College

On February 6th, four Saint Joe student-athletes put pen to paper in order to solidify their intent to continue playing football at the collegiate level. The four captains have been exemplary examples of what a Saint Joe student-athlete should be. These young men are well-rounded and put their team first. As coach Whitten stated at the event, these four young men have combined for over 1,000 service hours between them in addition to the hours spent in the classroom and on the practice field.
