Aidan's Masterpiece
In memory of Aidan Short, students from various clubs and organizations "challenge" each other by passing the torch and calling one another to serve and give back to the community just as Aidan would. We are proud of the many participants in this program, and thankful for everyone who contributes to Aidan's Masterpiece.

Please enjoy the first Aidan's Masterpiece video of the 2019-20 school year and the student-decorated parking spot commemorating Aidan, and be on the lookout for more great things from Aidan's Masterpiece!

Cross Country Teams Hitting Their Stride
The girls' cross country team had a great weekend, earning the top team spot at the Northwood Invitational! The girls' reserve team also took first in their division. The ladies followed up the Northwood Invite by claiming the South Bend City Championship at Erskine Golf Course. They ran a smart race as a pack to place nine finishers in the Top 15 overall and sweep both the JV and Varsity City Championship.

The boys team upset favored Adams while narrowly falling to a strong Riley squad. Marko Enriquez, Josh Juday, and Zach Taylor finished 2-3-7 overall with incredible surges over the final hill to push Saint Joe to the brink of a team championship.
Golf Swinging Through Conference Play
Girls' golf bested both John Glenn and Bremen last week. Katie Kloska led all players with a score of 38, while Bella Saratore finished runner-up with a 41. The ladies beat Marian this week, but fell just short of Penn for their first conference blemish of the season.
The girls' soccer team played to a draw against Crown Point the other weekend before routing Elkhart Central by a score of 9-0. The ladies followed up with a 4-0 win against John Glenn. This week the Indians defeated Penn in penalty kicks in what could certainly be considered a game-of-the-year contender!

The boys opened NIC play with a 2-1 victory over Elkhart Central. After falling behind 1-0 late in the first half, Luis Navarrete and Kyle Smith found the back of the net before the half ended to cap off the comeback. The team followed up with a win over Penn, scoring three straight goals after trailing 1-0 early.
Boys' tennis continued their hot start with 4-1 wins over Plymouth and LaPorte before blanking Mishawaka 5-0. They'll look to keep the momentum next week with matches against Adams and Penn before playing in the Warsaw Invite next weekend.
