Plan for Discover Saint Joe Day!
Discover Saint Joe Day takes place on Friday, October 11th, 2019 . Discover Saint Joe Day is a time to discover and explore the Saint Joe environment of academic offerings and interact with Saint Joe students, faculty, and administration. Students can plan to be on campus from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.  

All Saint Joseph High School Partner School 8th grade students will attend the day. If your son or daughter attends a non-Saint Joe Partner School - private or public - please contact Ms. Sue Ushela to secure a spot for this spirited and informative day at Saint Joe.

High School Placement Test
The High School Placement Test (HSPT) takes place Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Saint Joseph High School. If for some reason you are unable to attend there will be a make-up test date on Saturday, December 7, 2019 .

Check in is at  8:30 a.m. at the Event Entrance (on St Louis Blvd).

Testing begins promptly at 9:00 a.m. and will conclude between approximately 12:30 - 1:00 p.m. Students are to bring the $20 testing fee (cash, check, or money order) and two #2 pencils.

In order to have the appropriate testing space, students with IEP/ILP/CaLP/504 plans please call and reserve a spot for testing at (574) 233-6137 ext 524 or email sushela@saintjoehigh.com .

Seniors Nab National Merit Scholarship
Semifinalist Distinction
The National Merit Scholarship Corporation named approximately 16,000 high school students as Semifinalists in the 65th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Among them are Saint Joseph High School seniors Bridget Stockrahm and Jacob Frabutt.
 
Over 90 percent of Semifinalists become Finalists, and roughly half of the Finalists are awarded scholarships. All in all, nearly 7,600 National Merit Scholarships will be awarded in the spring, totaling over $31 million.

Saint Joe Swimmers Named All-Americans
Five Saint Joe swimmers earned recognition as Scholastic All-Americans! To earn this distinction, a student-athlete must perform at a high level in both the classroom and the pool. Congratulations to  John Bossler, Mary Cate Pruitt, Evelyn Sierra, Sam Sierra, and Aislinn Walsh on receiving this great honor. We are proud of you!
Volleyball Rolls; Suth Earns IndyStar Top Performer
The Indians toppled Marian in the volleyball installment of the Holy War on Thursday night, three sets to one. The team also secured wins over Marquette, Mishawaka, Riley, Culver, and Bremen over the last two weeks, displaying incredible resolve beating Culver 3-2 despite trailing by two sets.

Senior Sydney Suth was named IndyStar's Volleyball Top Performer for the week of September 9th-14th upon completion of fan voting. Congrats to Sydney and all of Saint Joe volleyball!
Boys' Tennis Walks Away with NIC Title
Boys' tennis continues to tear up the hard court, though at this rate the playing surface may not matter! Over the last two weeks Saint Joe defeated Adams, Penn, Goshen, Elkhart Central, Culver, Jimtown, and Bremen, while also peppering in a win at the Warsaw Invite. With their wins over Jimtown and Bremen the team solidified the NIC championship.
