Calling all Montana women entrepreneurs!

Prospera's 56Strong women mentorship program is accepting applications for both mentees and mentors for the January through June 2025 cohort. The mentorship program is designed to support female entrepreneurs looking to grow their businesses and to build resiliency and solidarity among female professionals across the state.

Mentees have the opportunity to build their entrepreneurial skills with the guidance of seasoned professionals and will work through goals and roadblocks to take your business to the next step.

Mentors help instill confidence in mentees, share experiences and expertise, assist with technical business skills, and provide insight and support for business growth and operations.

Business Trainings

The Growth Through Agriculture (GTA) grant and loan program’s goal is to strengthen and diversify Montana's agricultural industry through loans and grants to assist the development of innovative agricultural business organizational improvements and the commercialization and marketing of new agricultural products.

The 2025 Growth Through Agriculture grants/loan program will open early October 2024. This is a two stage application process. Pre-applications will be due at the end of October. Selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal, due in January 2025. Awards will be made March 2025.

Prospera will be offering training sessions to answer questions and offer guidance to applicants. Training topics will include:  

• Program guidelines
• New program areas for the 2025 program
• Eligibility criteria - who can apply
• Matching requirements
• Eligible costs
