To promote economic success for everyone in the St. Louis region by providing financial education and access to reliable financial products and services.
Prosperity Connection envisions an equitable community where everyone has the access, skills, tools, and confidence to achieve their financial aspirations.
New Developments At Partner Facility
In mid-August, several Prosperity Connection staff and board members were treated to a VIP tour of the brand new facility of our new community partner, Rung for Women.
The leadership of Rung and its "co-designers" have worked diligently to create a space that is welcoming and accommodating for its future cohort of women who will be participating in a one-of-a-kind, holistic program.
All activities are designed to support each woman as she sets attainable goals and meets with individual coaches who address her specific needs. A support system will be in place, on-site, to provide everything she might need from healthcare to fitness to mental health to job readiness to ready-made meals to go to child-care to financial education.
New staff member, Nikki Whetsell*, will be joining the team as Prosperity Connection's Financial Education Navigator. She will coordinate and execute financial education programs for participating women, called Members, who want to achieve self-sufficiency and long-term financial stability.
Prosperity Connection has long been a major source for equipping St. Louisans with the confidence, tools, and hands-on support that they need to strengthen their financial capacity and create future generational wealth.
We're excited to get started in the next several months and expand our impact.
We're thankful for the opportunity to work alongside Rung and its cadre of community co-designers in order to every woman has an opportunity to realize their dreams. #SurvivingToThriving

Financial Fact Friday from St. Louis Builds Credit
If you don't like setting up automatic bill payments, write down your bill due dates so you won't be late. Or set them as reminders in your phone to repeat every month! On-time payments help your credit the most.
St. Louis Builds Credit (STLBC) is a citywide credit building initiative that seeks to use credit building as a lever to open doors for St. Louisans to achieve a prime credit score, build wealth, and promote financial health. We believe that credit building can be a tool for tackling income inequality and decreasing the racial wealth gap. Our vision is that credit is a force that brings about financial justice and economic dignity for every St. Louisan.
STLBC is led by Prosperity Connection in partnership with Equifax Foundation, Dutchtown South Community Corporation, Justine PETERSEN, and Small Business Empowerment Center.
