Build a Bed

Prosser Construction Trades program, students, and building volunteers, are partnering with Metro United Way for the annual Build a Bed event. This program helps fill a basic need of providing an individual bed for students who don't currently have one. Which will help lead to healthier sleep habits and increased success in the classroom. If you are interested in donating funds for bed frame materials or sheets and bedding you can email @[email protected], or stop by the school between 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.!

Collaboration Station

Prosser's new Early Childhood Education program was assigned the task to design menus to help promote nutrition in the classroom. To put their plans into action they headed to the kitchen and collaborated with our Culinary Arts program. Prosser's culinary students were able to act as mentors and helped the ECE students stay safe in the kitchen!

Alumni Association

Bob Owings was appointed President of the newly established Prosser Alumni Association, formed from Prosser graduates from all programs. He helped created their mission to facilitate and promote Alumni relationships with each Prosser program and its students. The association aims to foster a spirit of loyalty among graduates, identify barriers as they enter their careers, and help them overcome obstacles by providing financial and professional resources. The Association's support is not limited to scholarships and will include personal equipment or individual resources.
