We hope this newsletter finds you well as we move through the second month of 2020.

The 2020 American Society of Clinical Oncology Genitourinary Cancers Symposium (ASCO GU) held last week focused on patient-centricity. Us TOO was represented by Jim Schraidt, Board Chair, James Hutson, Development Director and myself. It provided the organization an opportunity to bring the patient’s voice into conversations with pharmaceutical companies, diagnostic testing companies, clinicians, and our fellow advocates.

Continuing in the advocacy vein, Us TOO will be attending the ZERO Prostate Cancer Summit in Washington, DC. Many of our Support Group Leaders are active in ZERO activities and will take part as well.

We are excited to share the new mobile app from our partner, Inspire. The app provides an even better experience for individuals to engage with others and find support in the Us TOO Prostate Cancer Community of over 23,000 prostate cancer patients and caregivers. To download the app, visit . (The app is currently only available for the iPhone, but an Android version is in development).

A new webinar is coming up later this month: “Managing the Side Effects of Prostate Cancer and its Treatment: Emotional Distress, Intimacy Issues, Erectile Dysfunction and Incontinence” with Dr. Krishnan Venkatesan, MD, Washington Hospital Center, and William Goeren, MSW, of CancerCare, New York. The Webinar will take place on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 6:00 pm Eastern. Register at
