In a visually stunning manner, ELEMENTAL: REIMAGINE WILDFIRE distills what we’ve learned about wildland fire over the decades and provides a road-map for solutions that will benefit millions of people in communities at risk of extreme wildfires.
The expert research presented in the film and the highlights it contains are all intimately tied to upcoming Congressional business across multiple committees, anticipated legislation and spending bills. The documentary will be followed by a panel which features experts who will talk about the the challenges and solutions to preventing humanitarian disasters, supporting firefighters and keeping viable insurance markets active in the face of growing wildfire risk.
The goal is to contextualize the challenges we face and discuss the viable solutions to prepare us for the kind of extreme fires that have escaped control and caused huge losses to communities across the United States.
