Impact on KVMR and Public Broadcasting
When Republican Congressman Doug LaMalfa held a town hall meeting two weeks ago at the Nevada County Fairgrounds, KVMR was broadcasting the emotional and often-contentious event live.
Those days may soon be over, unless other funding sources arise.

Save the Date - Big Day of Giving
On Thursday, May 4th KVMR will participate in the Big Day of Giving - a 24 hour giving challenge to support local nonprofits.
In celebration of the day, KVMR will be doing live "pop-up" broadcasts at local businesses who support the station.
