Thank you so much for registering for Indivisible Action Coalition’s introductory Protect the Ballot webinar last Thursday, with speakers Susan Greenhalgh of Free Speech for People and Marilyn Marks of Coalition for Good Governance. The webinar gave a “sneak preview” of our Protect the Ballot webinar training series, which starts with Session 1 on November 24th and continues through the month of December.

Protect the Ballot Goals
The Protect the Ballot Project equips citizens and local leaders to strengthen ballot protections for the 2026 elections in the face of Trump’s unprecedented threats to disrupt them. We advocate for commonsense local policies that increase security and guarantee publicly verifiable outcomes with evidence-based elections. Our mission is to train and deploy local teams to partner with county election boards in the most competitive jurisdictions, promoting resilient best practices and rigorous public oversight. Through this work, we aim to ensure elections that are transparent, trustworthy, and resistant to both technical failures and orchestrated disinformation.
As we heard Jasmine Crockett say in the Marc Elias video clip during the webinar, Donald Trump is not above cheating to win elections; we also know that voting system software used in many states was stolen by MAGA operatives after the 2020 election. Hence the urgency of our preparations for 2026, which is just around the corner. Our upcoming webinar series could not be more timely or targeted at protecting the vote.
