Once many years ago, during a very tumultuous and scary time in our world, right after 9/11, I had said to my Dad, who was one of my wise mentors,
how difficult it was to feel unable to give my clients more comfort during those times. My Dad was 89 years old at that time, so he had many more years of wisdom than me.
His words were “Honey, there have always been scary times. Each of those scary times felt different every single time, each with its own dangers.
But we get through it, and we look back and recognize that the faith we have in people around us and the love we feel for each other gets us through and makes the difference. Have faith in that.”
So today, I’ll leave you with my Dad’s words. He has been gone from my life for over 18 years, and I still hear those words being relevant today.
Our issue this month will focus on some of the benefit changes we wanted to share. I look forward to seeing you on our next Parent University class.
And in the meantime, have faith.
With love,
Mary Anne
