Sometimes our role is to bring stability; other times, it is to bring comfort and peace of mind during life’s most sensitive moments. While Mr. Gordon is facing terminal cancer, the burden of rent should not be one of his worries. Thanks to compassionate donors, One Stop Cares stepped in and covered his rent, giving him the financial relief to focus on his health and the time he has left with his

Keeping Careers Moving & Neighbors Housed

EIE Workforce Mobility Support

One Stop Cares is excited to introduce the EIE Workforce Mobility Support Program — a new initiative that provides eligible participants with unlimited monthly bus passes when transportation challenges threaten their employment.

Reliable transportation can be the difference between keeping a job and losing housing stability. By helping participants get to work, attend interviews, and maintain income, this low-cost, high-impact support strengthens their ability to remain safely housed.

Support is tied to verified employment or active job search, built into each participant’s EIE Stabilization Plan, and provided for a limited timeframe with structured oversight.

This meaningful addition reflects our mission to prevent homelessness before it begins — empowering individuals to move forward with confidence, stability, and opportunity.
