FOOTHILL APARTMENT ASSOCIATION OFFER

Our trusted friends at the Foothill Apartment Association (FAA) provide local support and expertise to housing providers in the San Gabriel Valley and Foothill communities including Pasadena, Altadena, Glendale, Monrovia and more.

The FAA is generously offering an opportunity to hear its CEO speak on the evening of Monday November 18th, on issues including mandatory FinCEN registration for LLCs. If you'd like to attend this free talk in Pasadena and find out about the advantages that FAA membership could give you, please RSVP to foothillaa@sbcglobal.net by 12.30pm on Monday the 18th.

PASADENA RENT BOARD RELOCATION PLANS

Next week's Rent Board meeting on Thursday night (November 21st) will review the extreme relocation allowances for moving in to your own property or carrying out renovations. Not content with setting relocation payments of up to $38,000, the Board has just put out a request for "Relocation Consultants" to add to your financial burden. You will be paying their fees.

After almost a year of promises, the Board is finally going to consider how to treat smaller housing providers fairly. This is your opportunity to tell your story and make it clear that it is not fair or reasonable to demand these extortionate sums from Mom'n'Pop landlords.

If you'd like to join us on Thursday to defend the very people who provide affordable housing in Pasadena, you can join us at 6 PM at the Council Chamber in Pasadena, email a comment, or take part via Zoom.
