PROUD TO SERVE OUR COMMUNITY

First, the YMCA of Greater Rochester would like to thank you for doing your part to combat COVID-19. We will come out of this together, and stronger than ever.

In this time of public crisis, the Y is thankful for the opportunity to provide crucial resources to our community, and we wanted to share an update with you on the status of our services.
MEALS AT MAPLEWOOD
Over the past several weeks staff at our Maplewood Family YMCA served more than 4,000 meals, thanks to our partnership with Foodlink. Families have the opportunity to drive-through and receive a meal without ever getting out of their car. Without access to school meals the drive-through meals that we are providing can prevent a child from going hungry that day.
EMERGENCY CHILD CARE
Every day more than 350 kids receive child care at eight locations. We are thankful to be able to serve essential workers as they continue to work. Space remains for those in need of Emergency Child Care .
BLOOD DRIVES
Since March 27 we have held five blood drives that secured more than 180 units for the American Red Cross of Western New York. We are looking forward to the possibility of hosting more blood drives in the future, so keep an eye out for upcoming details.
