Proverbial Thought is more than a typical commentary; it is a collection of emotional and personal reflections, offering real-world application drawn from the lived-out Wisdom of Proverbs.

Two years in the making, Christians from three countries (USA, England, and Canada) came together in a one-of-a-kind effort - write a daily commentary covering every proverb/verse in the entire book of Proverbs.

Suggested uses for Proverbial Thought...

*    A Daily Devotional           *   Study Helps

*    Layman's Commentary    *   Sunday School

*    Family Devotions             *   Growing in Wisdom

What some have said...

~ Kevin Miller, Student

Wisdom [is] the principal thing; [therefore] get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. - Proverbs 4:7 KJV

This  volume contains the personal reflections of six people:

Anthony Baker (U.S.A.) - Husband, dad, preacher, musician.  Loves coffee, good movies, and sarcastic humor. Graduate of Temple Baptist Seminary and Covington Theological Seminary. Senior Pastor, Riverside Baptist Church. Most importantly, a humble servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. All glory belongs to Him.

David Welford (U.K.) - Husband to Marilyn for 34 years. Proud of our five children, daughters-in-law, and two grandsons. Regular contributor to Ebs and Flows, the blog of our eldest son, Nick. My prayer is that all my children, daughters-in-law and grandchildren would know more of God than I do, and sooner.

Daniel Klem (U.S.A.) - I am a product of the '80's (meaning I was born in that decade) and married to the most beautiful woman I know since 2009 (beautiful in appearance and as a woman of God). I graduated in the spring of 2013 from Grand Canyon University with a Christian Leadership major, and now I am a student at Phoenix Seminary. Also, most importantly, Jesus saved me ... and you.

Jason Sneed (U.S.A.) - Husband, father, worship leader but most of all a God follower! Graduated from Tennessee Temple University / I have the privilege to lead people to worship our Lord and Savior every week!

Grady Davidson (U.S.A) - Husband, father, and pastor of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, serving at Lookout Valley Presbyterian Church, Chattanooga TN, since 2002. Grady's life verse is Habakkuk 2:14, "For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea." Amen!

Ken Welford (U.K.) - Ken served as a Baptist Minister from 1956-1978. He was subsequently employed by The Leprosy Mission and The Far Eastern Broadcasting Association (FEBA). Although he retired in 1996 Ken continues to preach in his local Methodist circuit in the coastal town of Teignmouth in the UK.

In later volumes, Nick Welford (U.K.), Chris Jordan (Canada), and Katie Baker (U.S.A) will lend their "thoughts."
