Plus, we couldn't let the season pass without some festive flair, so you'll find a selection of family-friendly Halloween events to add a spooky touch to your fall plans.

This exhibit is open until the end of the month, offering a perfect opportunity to enjoy local talent. Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker with The Fairfax Ballet

Enjoy a winter wonderland featuring dancing Snowflakes, Candy Canes, and epic battles between Toy Soldiers and Mischievous Mice, along with the Sugar Plum Fairy and Nutcracker Prince. The Fairfax Symphony partners with The Fairfax Ballet to present the holiday classic, The Nutcracker, uniquely accompanied by a live orchestra. Experience Tchaikovsky’s score performed live by the Fairfax Symphony, featuring guest soloists from the New York City Ballet—Emily Kikta as the Sugar Plum Fairy and Aaron Sanz as the Cavalier.

Disney's The Haunchback of Notre Dame

The musical opens with the bells of Notre Dame ringing in fifteenth-century Paris. Quasimodo, the deformed bell-ringer who yearns to be "Out There," escapes his cruel caretaker, the archdeacon Dom Claude Frollo, to experience the Feast of Fools. Though treated harshly by the crowd, he finds kindness from the beautiful Romani woman, Esmeralda. Both Captain Phoebus and Frollo are captivated by her, leading to a rivalry as Frollo plots to destroy the Roma. It’s up to Quasimodo to save them all.
