It's hard to believe we are at the end of January already, and my birthday is tomorrow! I always think birthdays should be celebrated.

My tri p to Culebra seems so long time ago but it was beautiful and relaxing. My friend  Jan and I rented a house that had a "hill" for a driveway. W e sure did need that 4 wheel drive jeep. The beaches were gorgeous, as was the snorkeling (We saw sea turtles!)

Of course,  we came back to the wicked cold...but, then again, it is winter in New England.  Thank goodness we have passed the shortest day.  Yippee!

Now that I'm home, my studio is set up and I will be ordering a kiln this week. My friend Barb from Connecticut is coming up to help break it in. She used to be my assistant when I had my business Full Circle Pottery. It will be nice to work together again in my home studio.

Looking back on 2016, I had my best year ever in real estate: 8.8 million dollars of business, 26 transactions, close to 100% closing rate, 97% List Price to Sale Price ratio and average of 29 days on the market for my listings. I want to thank everyone for their wonderful referrals. It is what truly keeps my business going

Andi has made two new friends, Tucker and Slater...maybe she will finally learn how to socialize after 10 years.  Just like Andi my goal is to create new connections this year, I am looking forward to meeting new people and trying new things.

These charts show  the market really needs inventory now. If you're thinking about selling, don't wait until the spring when there will be more competition. If you would like to know what your home is worth contact me for a free consultation.

Newport Art Museum has a great Saturday afternoon lecture series called Winter Speak. I went to one two weeks ago on The History Of Glass. There are three more opportunities to attend in Feburary!

Fortnight a new e xperimental wine bar in Downtown Providence where you can pull up a barstool and have a chat about wines and beers with the owners of this wine cooperative. There's also beer on tap and cocktail nights with mixologist/ historian Sam Eilertson. Next cocktail night is Wednesday, February 8th. Looking forward to checking it out!
