DODD Releases Info graphic Regarding New Ohio Tobacco Laws
On October 17, 2019, the law in Ohio changed to make it illegal to give, sell or otherwise distribute tobacco products to any person under the age of 21.

Reminder: Holiday Billing Cycle
DODD released the following information on the November 18, 2019 Memo Monday. This information applies to billing completed through dodd.ohio.gov for WAIVER services.

This is a reminder that the holidays will change billing cycle deadlines and payments.
 
  • On New Year’s Day (Wednesday), DODD will extend the billing deadline cut-off until Thursday at noon the day after the holiday.
  • On New Year’s Day (Wednesday), payments will be sent on Friday instead of Thursday.
DSP Rate Increase
For service dates beginning January 1, 2020, the Medicaid maximum payment rates are increasing for Homemaker/Personal Care (HPC), Participant-Directed Homemaker/Personal Care (PD-HPC), and On-Site/On-Call (OSOC).

MUI Annual Analysis Due February 28, 2020
DODD Rule requires all DODD providers to submit an annual MUI report including history for 2019 and the previous three years. Please remember if you have not experienced any MUIs in 2019 or the previous three years, the analysis should be submitted indicating no MUIs. If you did not provide supports in Delaware County in 2019 or the previous three years the analysis should be submitted indicating this. A blank form is provided HERE
