DODD Releases Survey for DSPs
The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities is interested in hearing directly from DSPs and independent providers. If you are interested in participating in a workgroup, or giving your feedback directly to DODD, please fill out this survey.
Technology: Freedom Trax
Have you heard about Freedom Trax? Their mission is to make the world more accessible to wheelchair users. Freedom Trax is an off-road attachment for any manual wheelchair. Take it through the sand, snow, gravel, and mud. The intuitive design allows it to be extremely portable and take up very little space.
Community Connection: Pop up Pantry
Located at 4780 S Section Line Rd in Delaware, is a self-service pantry for anyone in need. Non-perishable food items, baby and pet items, hygiene and paper products, and school supplies. Open 9am until dark every day. Take what you need, Leave what you can.

There is still time to get involved! This is a great opportunity for DSPs and the people they support to team up and get their name on the Leader Board.

  • The Scavenger Hunt will be live beginning September 26 at 12:00 AM and close October 3 at 11:59 PM.
  • DCBDD is using the app GooseChase to operate our virtual scavenger hunt.
  • Participants can sign up as teams or as individuals. Participant names and team names will be shown on the Leader Board to track the progress throughout the hunt.
  • Participants will work their way through the hunt by completing missions.
  • Missions are provided by our awesome community partners.
  • The first participant or team to complete all of the missions will receive DCBDD swag.
  • Prefer the slow and steady method? That works too! All of the missions will be live from September 26th to October 3rd to complete at your own pace.
