Good morning,
Did you know that this week is "Be Kind to Humankind Week"? The creator of the observance describes it as “a week of reflection and kind thoughts of others to make this world a better place. Of course, we suggest practicing kindness daily, but this is the week you can take.” We couldn't agree more ... our personal and professional lives are full of opportunities to be kind to others and accept kindness ourselves. As fellow service providers, we also thank you for the kindness you extend to your clients all year!
In this issue, we're sharing upcoming classes, a brand new series exploring the questions we're asked by caregivers everyday, a not-to-miss event, and more.
But first! — We're excited to share that the application period for the Innovations in Alzheimer's Caregiving Awards opens August 28. Learn more about the awards, read the FAQs and check out past awardees. The application period ends October 9, 2024, and will not be extended. Please share with colleagues or peers who may be interested.
Happy reading and thanks for all you do!
