Good morning,

As 2024 comes to a close, we want to wish you Happy Holidays and our immense gratitude for being part of our community. In reflecting on this past year, we're deeply honored to have provided an array of services and support to family and friend caregivers — all of which was possible because of YOU.

Whether you or your organization partnered directly with us to produce programming or services, shared FCA resources with your caregiver clients, or helped spread the word about our free services, you directly impacted the lives of caregivers and those they care for. Thank you!

In 2024, our staff provided 3,273 local caregivers with personal, individualized support. Many of those caregivers also received customized care plans and resources through our CareNav™ tool. With your partnership and support, we also served caregivers with classes and webinars as well as hundreds of resources through our user-friendly website. Four hundred and sixty-four Bay Area caregivers received assessments to obtain tailored assistance, 1,369 received counseling and case management, and 99 participated in support groups.

We were able to continue providing many popular workshops, classes and trainings, PLUS launch new ones for both caregivers and the providers who support them. Here are just a FEW from 2024:

Thank you for helping us deliver so much valuable, needed support to family and friend caregivers. There are many different metrics we can use to measure the impact we've made for caregivers and their families, but perhaps the most important is the feedback we hear directly from them.

The following are just a few of the hundreds of comments we receive from those we serve. Because you enable so much of what we provide, these thanks are for you too!

We have much to look forward to and share in 2025. For example, we're excited to let you know that FCA has a new free program that helps SF Bay Area caregivers caring for someone with dementia — and who is enrolled in traditional Medicare as primary insurance — navigate care. The program is called GUIDE and we've partnered with Tembo Health to reach more caregivers navigating dementia care.

As we look forward to 2025, we are grateful to be entering a new year with the incredible support and partnership of this provider community. Thank you for everything you do, and have a wonderful holiday season!

Thank you,

Family Caregiver Alliance
