NHF’s 73rd Annual Bleeding Disorders Conference Provider Education Tracks will be taking place virtually online from August 25-28, 2021
Jointly provided by Postgraduate Institute for Medicine and National Hemophilia Foundation (Medical, Nursing and Social Work sessions)
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of physicians, pharmacists, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, social workers, and physical therapists involved in the care of patients with bleeding disorders.
This year’s Provider Education Tracks will include highlighted sessions on: 

  • The ASH/ISTH/NHF/WFH 2021 Guidelines on Diagnosis and Management of VWD (Major sessions in both Medical and Nursing tracks)

  • VTE, Thrombophilia and Covid-19 (Nursing)

  • Finding the Flow: Development and Implementation of Clinics for Women and Girls with Blood Disorders (Nursing)

  • Race, Racism, and Implicit Bias: What can we do about it? (SW)

  • Integrating Solution-Focused Therapy Techniques into Hemophilia Social Work (SW)

  • Psychosocial Pain Research: Pain Impact and Intervention (SW)

  • Telehealth in the Time of COVID and Beyond: A New Normal After the “Zoom-bie” Apocalypse? (PT)

  • Muscle Bleeds: Presentation, Challenges, and Interventions with focus on kinesiotaping (PT)

  • Neuromuscular Stimulation in Physical Therapy (PT)
