Independent Providers Incentive Available
On July 1, 2018, DODD began offering the Training and Longevity Add-on incentive (Competency Rate Modification) for experienced direct care staff who have also completed approved training. 
Provider Guide Plus
At the July Medina County Provider Network Meeting, the MCBDD presented information about the Provider Guide Plus and how agency providers can interact with the site. Moving forward, the MCBDD will soon be holding trainings for individuals, families and guardians to learn how to use and enter reviews into the Provider Guide Plus and we will be highly promoting the use of Provider Guide Plus as a resource as they search for agency service providers.  
Call for Solution Process Begins
The MCBDD has started a Call for Solutions process with private providers. This process asks providers to submit information on how they may meet the needs of groups of adults as they transition out of MCBDD Adult Day and Transportation Services. It will identify what private provider services are available and what supports may be needed from the MCBDD to successfully assist individuals as they transition

Do the words used to describe you have an impact on your life? You bet! The first way to devalue someone is through language, by using words or labels to identify a person/group as “less-than,” or not alike. Our language shapes our attitudes, are you and your agency committed to using the right words?

OPRA and the DODD have joined to create Back to Basics, a comprehensive and continual training series to help enable higher quality providers by focusing on the fundamentals. These trainings will be regional and in-person and free to all attendees. Attendees must register
