MCBDD Staff Updates

The last few months have been a busy time at the Medina County Board of DD. We want to make you aware of some recent staff changes that may affect you. Some changes are due to retirement, while others are helping us reshape the MCBDD to better service our community.

1099 Forms Available Online for Providers

The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities is sharing some basic tax information for independent and agency providers who are filing their 2018 tax returns.

All Medina County Service Providers Annual MUI Reports Due Feb. 28.

All Medina County service providers (including agencies and independents) must submit their 2018 annual review report for MUIs by Thursday, February 28, 2019. If a provider had no MUIs in 2018, they must still submit a report stating zero reports.

All completed reports should be sent to the MUI email at [email protected].

Free Compliance Training for Ohio Providers

Back to Basics is a free and comprehensive training series offered through a collaboration of the Ohio DODD and OPRA. The series will help you become a higher quality provider by focusing on fundamentals. Topics include compliance issues, review processes, community integration settings, and more to help a wide range of service providers be successful.

MCBDD Provides Computer Help and Access for Providers

The MCBDD is happy to announce it is offering local providers free access to computers and assistance in completing online provider related tasks. The computers, located at our Community Services building (2736 Medina Road, Medina), may be scheduled for use during regular business hours Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. To schedule time and/or to request help with online tasks, contact Provider Relations Specialist Courtney Jordan at 234-802-0130 or [email protected] .

Afterlife Fitness

Afterlight Fitness provides yoga instruction and consultation to individuals with developmental disabilities.
