SUPPORTING PROVIDERS
DSP Training Reimbursement
HCDDS continues to temporarily offer reimbursement for DSP trainings that are not available free of cost. Providers may request reimbursement for First Aid/CPR and Medication Certification 1 training. Other trainings that are essential to a DSPs work will also be considered. To request reimbursement, please complete this form, attach a receipt and certification/proof that the DSP successfully completed the course to providersupport@hamiltondds.org. Requests for trainings from 1/1/21 until the funds are exhausted will be considered. Requests will be reviewed every 2 weeks and payment will come directly from the SWOCOG.
Virtual Game Night for Adults
Our Community Navigation Team is offering a series of themed Virtual Game Nights for adults on the 2nd Saturday of each month starting at 5:00pm. Please share with individuals that would enjoy a fun, virtual event.
Additional Support Previously Shared
HCDDS continues to offer PPE picks-ups periodically.  If you are not currently receiving emails when PPE is available, you can email providersupport@hamiltondds.org with you name and agency name (as applicable) to be added to the list.

As a reminder, we are still offering BCI/FBI checks at Support Center from 9-noon on Wednesdays.  For agency providers requesting a BCI for a DSP, please ensure the paperwork is completed accurately with the providers signed authorization at the bottom of the form.  Additionally, we are continuing to accept requests for reimbursement for non-Medicaid COVID-related expenses in residential locations where a person has tested positive for COVID-19. Please see below for additional information:
COMPLIANCE UPDATES
Nurse Aide Registry Changes
Recently, the Ohio Department of Health made changes to the Ohio Nurse Aide Registry.  The registry now has a new home on the intranet and can be accessed here.

The site currently presents an error message when no matches are found in the system. If an applicant is not in the registry, the search will bring back the message you view here. In addition to running the registry report at this website address, you can download a CSV file to verify that the person is not on the nurse aid registry.

For your records, DODD recommends that you place a notation on the printed results page to confirm that you verified the error message on the CSV file including the date and time.
HPC Mileage Form
HCDDS has made some minor modifications to the HPC transportation documentation form to meet all requirements.  Please use the modified form located here.
