As part of our ongoing commitment to accuracy, we request your attention when reviewing attendance records. When marking absences, we ask that you refer to the child's Sign-In/Out sheet for precise information.

Popcorn and Profiles

2024-2025

Popcorn and Profiles (at the ELCHC office profile assistance) are available for you to attend by appointment, with your Contract Specialist for on-site assistance. Computers and scanners will be available for you to work on your profile. If you have a laptop, please feel free to bring it. Also, have your DEL portal login information “username & password”.

 

If you attend one of our sessions, you will be entered into a raffle to WIN a prize! Be sure to join us!

Cost of Care Survey

DEL has released its annual Cost of Care survey. This 6-question survey will be a pop-up when you log into the DEL portal. Please complete the survey no later than 5/31/2024. This survey is asking you about how much it costs to run your program between 07/01/2023 and 6/30/2024, you will need to make estimates for the last few months for this survey.

Day of Play Nature in the Park

We're excited to announce an upcoming "Day of Play" to celebrate art in nature and prepare children ages birth to 5 for their kindergarten journey. We need your help to spread the word within our community! Share the news about this fun-filled family event featuring educational activities, free resources, giveaways, games, and more.

ASQ Completion

Checking the DEL portal Incomplete queue and completing ASQs in a timely manner are responsibilities listed in SR contracts.

Be on the lookout for upcoming ASQ email reminders. Under guidance of DEL, the ELC is now sending weekly reminders prior to ASQ due dates to help you stay in compliance. SR providers will receive this notification if they have an incomplete ASQ due within 15 calendar days.

Please be advised, the ELCHC will begin assigning Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) for late ASQs starting February 1, 2024 and that effective April 1, 2024 the ELCHC will hold payment for any providers who have outstanding ASQ's 

Celebration of the Hands

We are so excited to see the beautiful hand artwork for Children's Week Florida! Be sure to submit your children's/students' hand artwork before February 12. Their artworks will be shown in the Capitol Rotunda in Tallahassee.


How to submit artwork:

1️⃣ Drop off at ELCHC at 6302 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Ste. 100, Tampa, FL 33619 from January 29th - February 8


2️⃣ Mail artwork by February 12 to the ELC of Big Bend at 2639 N. Monroe Street, Bldg. C-300, Tallahassee, FL 32303
