Dear Provider, 

Effective March 1, 2023, our Administrative Service Organization (ASO) for behavioral health services, Beacon Health Options, will change its name to Carelon Behavioral Health. The name change is a business decision by Carelon’s parent company, Elevance Health.  This name change does not impact your contract or the quality of service you have come to expect from the Connecticut Behavioral Health Partnership (CT BHP) and its administrative partners.

As with Beacon, Carelon will continue to create value through proven, effective services and data analytics; experienced clinicians, care coordinators, and administrative staff; and a whole-person approach to well-being and recovery.

All existing phone numbers, emails, websites, and portals will redirect without re-registration. Carelon Behavioral Health will replace Beacon Health Options materials and logos, but the change will not affect the current CT BHP processes and procedures. 

As we move closer to March, we will keep you informed, communicating any new information as it becomes available.
