Trauma Informed Family Engagement:
Understanding the impact of implicit bias and structural racism  (6 CEUs)
Presented by Bobbi Beale, PsyD, Kynetta McFarlane, PsyD, and Dani Beale, MA on July 16, 2020  8:45 am - 4:15 pm


Participants will review SAMHSA's 6 guiding principles for Trauma Informed Care.
Additional Training Sessions
Additional training sessions have been added to the Foundations for Success 2020 Virtual Training Series. These sessions are scheduled for July 28 and July 30 from 10am - 12pm, and aim to provide essential information regarding:

  • Adult Day Support in relation to community engagement with valued social roles
  • Resources to assist providers in developing/enhancing successful service delivery systems
  • Practical application today including conversation around challenges presented by financial constraints associated with customized/person-centered community engagement
  • Funding solutions and new ways and setting to provide services
  • Importance of empowering Direct Support Professionals to be teachers/coaches and community liaisons
