Medina County Providers
Weekly Information
September 16, 2020
Should any providers have questions or immediate needs, please email Provider Support by clicking below.
National Provider Identifier Requirement
Beginning in 2021, all providers will be required to have a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number. The Ohio Department of Medicaid recommends that providers complete this process by the end of 2020. When signing up for an NPI number, providers can list more than one taxonomy (service definition) code. Listing a code for each service that a provider is certified in is suggested.

There is no current requirement to send an NPI number to DODD. Please keep it in your records.

Your work will never go unnoticed or underappreciated. Thank you for all that you do!
