Providers and Clinicians New HD Group 2 Power Wheelchair

Quantum® Rehab has brought elevation to group 2 single power wheelchairs and is further expanding that option with an HD version.

With a 400-lb. weight capacity, the J4EHD comes standard with QLNES Controller but can be upgraded to the Q-Logic 3e. Independent suspension and 14” solid drive wheels contribute to a comfortable, smooth ride while 4-pole motors and a 20.1” turning radius get you where you need to go.

A recessed battery door shifts the batteries further back in the base. This creates an improved Center of Gravity and leads to better driving performance for the consumer.

Seating system is a Q4 tilt with an optional power articulating foot platform. Available colors include Back in Black, Electric Blue and Red Corvette.

The J4EHD will become available to order, later this month.

At the end of 2025, the handheld programmer will be phased out and no longer capable of programing new Quantum Rehab wheelchairs. But don't worry, computer and mobile device programing will not only continue to work but Quantum will be improving on these processes and the education behind it. This decision to discontinue the handheld programmer is simply based on the fact that they do not have the capacity to hold the larger data sets necessary for wheelchairs that are continuously evolving. We will continue to push out resources to help with this transition throughout this year.

Renumbering Cushions

Quantum Rehab and Stealth Products have introduced a new numbering system for their cushion options. This alphanumeric code will contain all details for each cushions and provide greater simplicity while continuing to maximize the amount of options available. The new coding system will reference the model number, foam type, liner material and cover type along with the width and depth of the cushion.
