Provincial review of regional government
Mayor Burton's draft motion on regional governance goes to Council on February 25
Earlier this year, the provincial government announced a review of Ontario's eight regional municipalities and 83 associated municipalities. 

Town Council will be discussing the Province's review at its upcoming meeting on Monday, February 25 at 
7 p.m. As a reminder, this meeting will be held  at Halton Regional Centre, 1151 Bronte Road. Residents are invited to come out to the meeting to join in the conversation and share feedback on this issue.

Hydro line clearing continues

The Town of Oakville's Forestry team is carrying out regularly scheduled tree maintenance on behalf of Oakville Hydro in south west Oakville this year. If not properly maintained, trees can create power outages or hazardous situations by touching or even falling on hydro lines, during wind, snow or ice storms.
