We’re in Week 2 of our “Psalms: Your Summer Playlist” series. After a bit of an intro last week, we’re now beginning to dive into particular kinds of psalms. Did you know that some psalms express great sorrow, while others sing songs of joy? And up this week: certain psalms tell a story.

You may think you know what’s in the Bible, and perhaps you do. There’s something about the way the psalmist recounts God’s work, though, that’s powerful. When a psalm tells a story, we hear things in a new way.

Join us as we listen to - and begin to contemplate - Psalm 136. What has God done? What are we called to remember? And how do these stories speak to our lives today?

We’ll see you in worship!

P.S. We’re really excited about the corresponding resources we have for this summer sermon series. Pastor Stella has written an accompanying study guide, and our staff has put together two musical playlists. Visit our sermon series page to enjoy it all.
