Psychology Interns Leave a Lasting Impression at Parc

On March 12th, Parc Center for Disabilities reached a powerful milestone in our Raise the Roof Capital Campaign.

Major donors who committed early during the private phase of our Raise the Roof Capital Campaign gathered to leave their mark, quite literally, on the future of our community. Their handwritten messages will be forever embedded in the foundation they helped make possible. Together, they inscribed messages of hope and signatures on the walls of our new Children’s Services Center before the final walls enclosed them. These messages are now part of the very foundation where capabilities will shine for generations to come. 🧡

Renowned local artist Derek Donnelly joined us to co-create a vibrant mural, blending community spirit with creative expression. It was more than an event—it was a celebration of generosity, unity, and belief in a brighter future for every child we serve.

• The mission of Parc – Parc Center for Disabilities is the premier provider of life-changing services to children and adults with developmental disabilities in the Tampa Bay area. We structure our services around three centers of excellence: Children’s Services, Adult Day Training, and Residential Care to ensure a lifetime of support for individuals and families.
• A volunteer Board of Directors oversees the strategic planning and financial matters of the mission on behalf of the community.
• Parc serves the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities within the Tampa Bay community.

• Parc employs 326 individuals supporting over 523 individuals on a daily basis.
• Parc has a main campus off Tyrone Blvd. and two residential homes in our community.
• Parc offers three specialized programs for children with intellectual disabilities: the Discovery Learning Center early intervention preschool, Caregiver Relief Services, and Family Focus Services.
• The Adult Services include Adult Day Training, Life Skills Development, the Inspired Artist Studios, Supported Employment, and Residential Services.
• Parc provides a life-span of services starting as early as 2 months old through to adults 80+ years old.

April is Autism Awareness Month, and at Parc Center for Disabilities, it’s so much more than a month on the calendar.

Because of you, the 112 individuals on the autism spectrum we serve at Parc Center for Disabilities receive the therapies they need, the education they deserve, and the personalized support that helps them flourish.
