What is Sufi?
Islamic Mysticism. That is the definition of Sufi. And what does that mean? It is a mystical Islamic belief that seeks to find the truth of Divine Love through a direct and personal experience of God. And there we have quiet a bit in common with Muslim Sufis because as spiritual practitioners, we also seek a personal and direct experience of God. Sufis have regular services with practices that help them reach the mysitcal state of union with the Divine. At the Institute we offer classes and experiences designed to enlighten the way we see the world through the eyes of Spirit. The picture to the left shows one of the ways in which Sufis find an experience of God, through dance.

We believe that all humans are born with the ability to commune directly with higher energies and Divine Light, and in sharing that experience, we find one another.
