Past Diversity & Inclusion Symposia

Available Online!

In 2020, the Governing Board, based on the recommendation of the Task Force on Racial Justice, created the Diversity & Inclusion Symposium to be held every year at the Annual Meeting to investigate the topics of diversity, inclusion, and equity.

We hope by holding these symposia and freely sharing the videos, that we can bring change to the diversity and inclusion in our field. Each symposium holds its own unique focus and approach.

Please reach out to us through Member Services at info@psychonomic.org if you have comments or are interested in organizing a D&I symposium in the future.

You may watch them from the PS website or YouTube channel. Enjoy the videos!

Compared to urban scenes, nature scenes elicit more attention. Participants viewed a series of both types of scenes. The urban scenes reduced the duration of the attentional blink. There was also evidence of a wider spread of attention to the nature scenes. Read this paper.
