| | Call for Science Communicator Editor | | The Psychonomic Society is seeking a Science Communication Editor to lead the Society's science communication efforts by creating engaging content for the website, newsletter, and social media platforms. Additionally, the Editor is expected to select and manage a team of up to five Associate Editors and to oversee the Society's social media efforts during each Annual Meeting. The term is expected to be from January 2027 through December 2029, with an annual stipend of $10,000. Applicants should be PS Fellows or Members with a strong record in science writing. The application deadline is September 21, 2026. Abstract acceptance notices were emailed to submitters/presenters on July 14, 2026. Submitters/presenters will be given an opportunity to review their abstract for accuracy before the final Abstract Book is published.

Call for Family Care Grants | | |
The Psychonomic Society's Family Care Grants are designed to support attendees who incur extra family care expenses (i.e., extra daycare, babysitting services, elder care, or care of a family member with disabilities), above and beyond their regular family care expenses, in order to attend the Annual Meeting. The application deadline is September 1.
Meeting attendees are eligible to apply, as long as your 2026 membership and registration fee are paid. This year, the Society is offering up to $500 USD in reimbursable expenses (receipts required) for attendees. The total available funding for 2026 is $5,000 USD. Learn more and apply.

| | Call for Nominations: 2027 Keynote Speaker | Fellows and Members are invited to nominate an eminent researcher to deliver the Keynote Address at the 2027 Annual Meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. Nominees must be a distinguished Society member or non-member who would give a compelling talk. The Nominations Committee will consider submissions and create a shortlist to present to the Governing Board for final selection. Nominations are due September 14. (You may view a list of past Keynote Speakers.)
