PS Announces Incoming L&B Editor-in-Chief Lauren M. Guillette

The Psychonomic Society is pleased to announce that Lauren M. Guillette (University of Alberta, Canada) has been named the incoming Editor-in-Chief of Learning & Behavior (L&B). Guillette will begin her four-year editor term on January 1, 2023.

PS Governing Board Election

Nomination Deadline: TODAY


The Call for Nominations for PS's 2023 Governing Board election closes today. Submit your nominations now (up to four) for candidates to run for election. The PS membership will vote this summer for two new Governing Board members to join the board on Jan 1.


PS Governing Board members help shape the activities and long-term strategy of the organization through participation in Board meetings and service on various PS committees.


Each PS member (Fellow, Member, or Emeritus member) may nominate up to four persons to run for the Governing Board election. The names of the three persons who receive the greatest number of nominations, and who signify their willingness to serve, shall be placed on an election ballot. The Nominations Committee will select an additional three candidates. The Governing Board election will run from July 1-31. Two candidates will be elected by the membership to serve six-year terms on the Governing Board (2023-2028).

As a reminder, our program this year is going to look a bit different, given that we will be offering both in-person and virtual attendance options. Read our announcement about what you can expect at this year's hybrid conference.
