“There is a difference between curing and healing, and I believe the church is called to the slow and difficult work of healing. We are called to enter into one another’s pain, anoint it as holy, and stick around no matter the outcome.

Searching for Sunday: Loving, Leaving, and Finding the Church

Are you an expert?
You are! In at least
something
! This year's
Young Adult Fall Retreat
will feature sessions led by you throughout the weekend. Call it a precursor to
Adulting 101
led by young adults. If you'd like to lead a 30- or 60-minute session on a topic you're an expert on that you think your peers would benefit from, please contact me. Additionally, we'll have service projects, worship, and a special edition of Pub Theology.
As we gear up for the retreat, please be sure to register as soon as possible. This is especially important if you need childcare so we can make sure we have the right number of caregivers for the right ages and stages of kids!
Hope to see you
tonight at Pub Theology at LynLake Brewery!
Regards,
Rev. Nate Melcher
