Hi colleagues,

This semester, I, along with my fellow Workforce Deans, embarked on a leadership development journey by delving into Simon Sinek's book, Start With Why . As I read through each page, I was encouraged to see that, as a division, we truly have our "why" at heart - our value of helping others achieve their goals by supporting not only our students, but also, our staff and faculty. The wonderful accomplishments we achieved this semester all began with the desire to find solutions that foster success and elevate the unique skills and perspectives that everyone brings to our mission.

I am retiring and moving to Dallas to be with my fiancé who recently took a position of associate dean of research with SMU and to care for my two young granddaughters. I plan on exploring new career options in the next couple of years after the youngest child starts child care. My time with ACC and the child care development department has been full of learning, friendships, and deep respect for our students.

With gratitude, Stacey
